Meet Maple, a sweet canine who came into our care at Straydog. At less than a year old, Maple was recently diagnosed with hip dysplasia, a condition that is typically seen in older dogs or large breeds. In hip dysplasia, the hip joint doesn’t develop properly, leading to pain, difficulty moving, and eventually arthritis if untreated.
Maple’s case is unusual due to her young age, and her symptoms progressed rapidly. She required surgery to prevent further pain and ensure she could live a healthy, happy life. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and Maple is now on the road to recovery. However, the costs of her surgery and follow-up care have placed an unexpected strain on our resources.
Would you consider making a donation to help cover Maple’s medical expenses? Your support will allow us to continue caring for Maple and other animals like her who deserve a second chance at a happy, healthy life.
Thank you for your generosity and for being a friend to Straydog.
